Tanlines, comprised of singer/guitarist Eric Emm and multi-instrumentalist Jesse Cohen, unveiled their newest music video "Palace" today. The video was directed by Alex Karpovsky (HBO's Girls) and Teddy Blanks, and stars the band alongside Karpovsky and Natasha Lyonne (Orange Is The New Black), with Leo Fitzpatrick (Kids, The Wire) and Ben Sinclair (High Maintenance) making cameo appearances.
The video was co-produced by Urban Outfitters as the twenty-second installment of their UO Music Video Series. Over the past two years, the UO Music Video Series has helped produce music videos for Tanlines, Ariel Pink, Perfume Genius, Spoon, Blood Orange, Liars, Washed Out, Tame Impala and more.
After three sold out release shows in New York and Los Angeles, Tanlines will take their highly-anticipated Highlights tour across the country starting in Pittsburgh, PA this Friday on June 26th at Mr. Smalls. Highlights, produced by the band and Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, is the band's first collection of new material since their critically-lauded debut, Mixed Emotions.
