Weekday What's Up: A Silent Film

By Allyson Bills

Oxford, England’s A Silent Film has always had an infinity for Arizona. The band consisting of Robert Stevenson (vocals and pianos) and Spencer Walker (drums) recorded their 2012 effort, Sand & Snow in the Phoenix area, and has toured the state numerous times since their 2005 inception. Their piano-driven brand of rock, which has been compared to the likes of their compatriots Keane and Coldplay, and exceptional live performances wins fans time and time again.

After a brief break from extensive recording and touring, A Silent Film is back with their third full-length, self-titled album. This album was recorded in their hometown and self- released on their Silent Songs label. In conjunction with the release of their new album, A Silent Film is currently on a fall U.S tour, and they are making a stop in Phoenix once again. Come see and experience the magic of A Silent Film at Valley Bar on Tuesday, November 24th.
